A storm brings a fleeting relief to the oppressive heat and humidity over the North Queensland canefields. Don't worry if you get drenched, you'll be dry again in 15 minutes. This was another painting that started out as a small watercolour study which pleased me enough to ramp it up.

  • Finished with isolation coat and satin varnish.
