northbrook creek, flowing clear

This is Northbrook Creek, just west of Mount Glorious in the Brisbane hinterland. The forest growth was rampant, and the air was full of humidity and the gentle percolating and trickling sounds of water. Soon after the region experienced 1.1m of rain in a week, so I fear the poor place may be a bit of a mess now, but here it is in its glory. I'm sure it will recover, nature is like that—given a chance.

This one is painted thickly with palette knife, brush, and various invented tools on a stretched linen canvas. I've painted around the edges, and finished with an isolation coat and varnish, so it's ready to hang for a peaceful uplift to your favourite space.
